Maintenance Requirements (Required to
Maintain Coverage)
To keep your Lifetime Vehicle Protection
active, you must follow routine maintenance guidelines.
Required maintenance includes:
• Regular engine oil and filter changes
• Maintaining proper transmission fluid levels
• Maintaining proper cooling system levels
• Following the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule
Service timing requirements:
• Vehicles using synthetic oil must
be serviced at least every 6 months or 7,500 miles
• Vehicles using non‑synthetic oil must be serviced at least every 6
months or 7,500 miles
• At minimum, the vehicle must be serviced at least once every 12 months or
10,000 miles, whichever comes first
⚠️ Maintenance
records must be kept. Failure to follow required maintenance schedules may
result in loss of coverage.
Where Can Covered Repairs Be Completed?
Covered repairs may be completed at:
• Participating Walmart Auto Care
Centers
• Other authorized service providers approved by the administrator
Service locations and repairs are subject
to administrator approval. Walmart is a service provider only and is not the
warranty administrator.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this warranty only for Walmart
employees?
No. This program is not limited to Walmart employees. Walmart Auto Care
Centers are one of the authorized service locations for covered repairs.
Does every used car at Koons Now include
this protection?
No. Lifetime Vehicle Protection is available only on qualifying vehicles
that meet eligibility requirements and receive approval at time of purchase.
What happens if I move out of the area?
Covered repairs may be completed nationwide at participating Walmart Auto Care
Centers or other authorized facilities.
Is this the same as a manufacturer
warranty?
No. This protection is not a manufacturer warranty and does not replace any
existing factory coverage.
